It’s been a big month for our campaign, but the end of September is even bigger. September has been about rescued cheese cake, peaches, soccer games, and hours and hours on the road (with my lumbar pillow) visiting counties across Pennsylvania.

But let’s start with the best part! We drove past this incredible homemade sign in Venango County. 😭 I knocked on your door to say hello, cuddle your chickens, and say thank you! You weren’t home — but this sign made me so emotional! ❤️

They used stencils. I want to be friends and have craft nights together. (Call me!)

That was a big day. Venango County may be "red" historically, but Venango County Dems have my whole heart. We won’t be able to stay away for long — a big thanks for having us!

Things are moving swiftly here on the campaign, but back in Braddock, I’m busy at free store 15104 and at For Good Pgh. This month, we rescued all of the cheese cake, tres leches cake, and peaches to go back out into the community. We’re out here rescuing allllll the food.

One of the most magical nights of this month was our recent visit to Philadelphia. The meet-and-greet on Monday night completed our statewide swing through eight Pennsylvania counties, and drew an enormous crowd of people young and old who showed up to support our campaign and say hello to me! (and maybe Joao)

John, it’s been a big month for our campaign, but the *end of September* is even bigger. We only have five end-of-quarter deadlines (including this one) between now and Election Day, and our fundraising strength at the end of each one will be how our supporters, reporters, and even our opponents judge the validity and momentum of our campaign.
