I'll continue to fiercely defend women's reproductive freedom as long as I'm in Congress -- and I need your help to fend off right-wing attacks so that VA-10 still has a pro-choice representative after 2022.

Friend,

This morning, I voted for the Women's Health Protection Act. In the wake of the alarming efforts in states like Texas to restrict abortion access, this bill will ensure that a woman's right to make her own medical decisions remains enshrined under the law.

But this fight is far from over. We'll need all hands on deck as we urge the Senate to swiftly take up and pass the Women's Health Protection Act (and we must insist that the filibuster be abolished if it stands in the way of passing the law).

It's also clear that we need to elect pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot in 2022. The Supreme Court will be hearing a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade in a little over two months' time, and the future of reproductive choice in this country has never been more uncertain.

I'll continue to fiercely defend women's reproductive freedom as long as I'm in Congress -- and I need your help to fend off right-wing attacks so that VA-10 still has a pro-choice representative after 2022.

Please chip in so we can raise another $8,751 before my public fundraising deadline on September 30. Anything you can give will make a huge difference: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/jw_em

Thank you,

Jennifer
