Like me -- parents, community leaders, and school board members are confused about where we are as a state.
They don't recognize an Iowa where our governor endorsed a school board candidate who is part of a group sending death threats over simple COVID-19 precautions like masks in schools.
I'm calling on Governor Reynolds to demonstrate some courage: Have the courage to stand up for what's right, have the courage to follow Iowa values, have the courage not to stoop to far-right political pandering.
Iowa is so much better than this, and I know we can show real leadership through the rest of this COVID-19 pandemic. That's why I'm running, and it's why I need your support.
We can get through this, together.
