96 [link removed] John,

Not only is it
National Farm Safety and Health Week, but today is specifically all
about Safety & Health for Women in Agriculture!

Many people believe
that farming is becoming largely automated – but the statistics don’t
lie. Farming is still a very dangerous industry, and women across the
country are putting their lives on the line to put food on our tables
day in and day out.

These women work dangerous and dirty jobs, so
it's great to see them be recognized.

In case you missed it, of the
five finalists for Minnesota Farmfest 2022 Woman Farmer of the year,
four of them were from CD7!

here.

I’m so proud of the women working in the agriculture industry –
and I hope to do them justice by spreading the word about the risks they
take on and ways to make their workplace a safer environment.
