Hi John,
We just made history. Greenpeace and fishermen have sailed up the River Thames, and delivered a message straight to politicians at Westminster: protect our oceans now.
Not only were we representing fishermen from harbours across the UK, but also the over half a million people who signed our petition to end destructive fishing in Marine Protected Areas.
Now that fishermen have called for urgent and immediate action, they need you to help them get the word out there. Will you watch and share the video?

Over the summer we ran Operation Ocean Witness, with the intention of documenting destruction in Marine Protected Areas along the South Coast and learned from fishermen that the situation was worse than we could have imagined.
That they are being forced to give up their way of life, because of industrial vessels hoovering up everything that is left in the Channel and Southern North Sea.
“I think if something doesn't happen quite soon, I think all our best efforts, I just think we'll lose the whole fleet. I don't think it's a matter of even the strongest will survive. I don't think anybody will survive” - Graham, fisherman from Eastbourne
The fight for ocean protection isn’t over, we need your help to get the message out there.
