This past weekend, I sent you a message on our efforts to reform our broken immigration system, and I wanted to send a quick update on our work.

In a late night ruling last Sunday, the Senate Parliamentarian blocked the inclusion of immigration in the Democrats' budget reconciliation package.

To say the ruling was disappointing is an understatement, but the fight is far from over. We’re exploring all of our options, and I promise you that I will work tirelessly to build a pathway to citizenship for millions of America’s Dreamers, TPS holders, farmworkers, and essential workers.

I’ll keep fighting to get the job done here in Washington, and I’m hoping that you’ll make a contribution to ensure we can continue making progress on this crucial work.
