Dear Friends,
Thank you for being a part of our voting rights legacy. It is only through collective action and community activism that we can hope for substantial change. My father marched, organized, and fought for over a decade before the 1965 voting rights act was signed. He laid the groundwork for nonviolent protest that we have used effectively to shape the world we all deserve. We were honored to march in his footsteps and continue his work with you. As you know, the fight is far from over and we must continue to fund grassroots organizers on the frontline today. Right now, almost 400 restrictive voting rights bills have been introduced in 48 states. It’s imperative that we push for urgently needed Federal voting rights protections but it’s even more important to rally behind activists and organizers fighting these bills in the courts and in the streets and registering voters across the country. Your donation will allow us to support their work directly. Join Give us the Ballot and continue the march for voting rights.
