John, if you haven’t been as tuned in to politics these last few weeks, we understand. There has been a LOT going on.

So before we ask you for a donation to Jahana’s re-election campaign, let us explain why we are asking right now. [[link removed]]

At the end of the month, we have to report our fundraising to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and all our numbers will become public.

This is the moment when the national Republican groups set on taking the House will get some insight into whether their early attacks on Jahana made an impact. Jahana has been hard at work over the past few weeks battling crises on multiple fronts – but the GOP hasn’t stopped playing their game of divisive partisan politics.

If they notice our fundraising numbers are strong, they will know their ads are not working. On the other hand, if they sense an opportunity, they will invest even MORE money into CT-05 attacks in hopes of making it one of the districts that flip the House and put it in GOP control.

If we’re able to report out a big number at the end of this month, the GOP might reconsider their investments here. They will know we are not going anywhere!
