They might be a budding Emma Raducanu or maybe just want to try tennis... this fun, indoor event is for ages 3 – 10.

Kids will love the inflatables, tennis games and fun activities. All equipment is provided and the great coaching team will be on hand to help them enjoy the session – which is played with smaller nets, rackets and lower-bouncing balls. 

It's completely free... There's one session on Saturday afternoon and two sessions on Sunday. No need to book – just turn up!

Over 5,000 runners will take a tour of the city this Sunday for the Robin Hood Half Marathon events. Why not pick a point along the route and cheer them on?

The Notts running event of the year, taking in all parts of the city includes the stunning Wollaton Park, before runners cross the finish line at Victoria Embankment where a very special, bespoke 40th anniversary finisher medal awaits.

Some roads in the city will be temporarily closed for the event. You can see all the closures on our website.

On June 30 1845, an Act to enclose the Fields and Wastes of Nottingham, St. Mary’s Parish, was given the Royal Assent which protected 130 acres of land for the use of the public for recreation.

For the past 17 years The Friends of the Forest have been conducting an annual guided walk.

The walk begins at 1pm from the south end of Queen’s Walk by the Embankment tram stop.

The route is marked with information boards to help navigate the 5-mile route.

The leisurely walk includes brief historical insights along the way before it finishes at the Inclosure Oak adjacent to Mansfield Road.

EULOGY is a communal experience lasting 30 minutes, using binaural sound and speech recognition technology to immerse each audience member into a dreamlike, labyrinthine hotel that is imagined in the darkness.

Audience members are transported through rooms and down corridors, into a car park, a canteen and a lift which transports them between floors, taking them deeper into the dream.
