Watching our School Board |
At last night's School Board Meeting, there was an alarming amount of both school and county police presence at the school board meeting. Many Palm Beach County residents and parents were denied entry into the meeting .
The masked people were allowed to stay in the meeting room but unmasked people were taken to a separate building to watch the live video. All was very intimidating.
Virtually every person who spoke was against masks for the school children.
The Palm Beach County school board voted to follow new state rules and allow students who have been exposed to Covid but are healthy to remain in school and not be forced to quarantine. School board Members Ayala and Robinson were in opposition of the new emergency rules signed by the Surgeon General.
The Board is now considering weekly testing and promoting vaccinations of the children. The Palm Beach County School Board continues to pick and choose which laws and rules to follow while defying the state health department and department of education.
Many residents spoke against the fact that many of the School Board members and other PBC officials were photographed last week partying maskless. See Video Here

At last night's Sept 22nd PBG meeting, the councilors voted 3-2 to keep the millage rate flat, to pass the budge as presented last time, and to reduce the time & cost for restaurants to create outdoor seating. Watch Video of Meeting

With a father in the U.S. Marine Corps, I grew up on military bases and learned about service from a young age. After frequent moves, I'm grateful to be settled in Jupiter, and call it home. The Jupiter way of life for my family means kayaking trips on Saturdays, bananas fresh off the tree, and volunteering on the beach or in our neighborhood whenever we can.
I've never been one to sit back and just watch. I've always rolled up my sleeves and gotten involved. I want to do that here, for my chosen hometown. That is why I’m excited to announce that I’m running for Jupiter Town Council, District 2.

Christian Acosta is an adjunct instructor in the Engineering Department at Palm Beach State College with expertise in Power Engineering. He was a congressional candidate in 2020 for CD21, and currently serves as the President of the Palm Beach County chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.
Audrey Friedrich is a clinical psychologist with her own Boca Raton practice in cognitive-behavioral therapy. She also serves on the Board of Supervisors of the PBC Soil and Water Conservation District, and Treasurer of the Young Republicans of Palm Beach County.

Adam Brandon is the President of FreedomWorks, a grassroots service center to millions of activists who support smaller government, lower taxes, free markets, personal liberty, and rule of law. Adam joined FreedomWorks in 2005, starting in the press department and gradually moving into a management role. Adam is responsible for setting the priorities of the entire family of FreedomWorks entities, including a 501(c)(3) foundation, 501(c)(4) issue activism effort, and two political action committees. Before FreedomWorks, Adam worked as a state-level campaign manager, high school teacher, and non-profit press secretary. Needless to say, each role taught him the skills to achieve strategic goals in an environment of scarcity. Karen Schoen , originally from New York, currently resides in the Florida panhandle. A former teacher, dean and business owner, she became an activist and devotes her time speaking to groups throughout the United States educating Americans to the communist United Nations takeover of America called UN Agenda 21 aka Sustainable Development, Sustainable America, Resilient cities, Smart Growth, New Urbanism etc.

To FreedomWorks, Laura Zorc brings years of experience and expertise in the subject of education reform and an unparalleled devotion for putting power back in the hands of parents and families.
Laura’s focus shifted to education when her children began public school in Florida. Desiring a quality education for her four children, Laura served in multiple positions on the parent-teacher board of her children’s schools, was elected twice as president of her county’s parent-teacher association, and co-founded Florida Parents Against Common Core (FPACC), one of the largest parent-led advocacy groups in the state. Additionally, she served on former Florida Governor Rick Scott’s Education Committee as the parent representative before being elected to the Indian River County School Board.
In Laura’s free time you will find her volunteering on various education committees, giving professional tax preparation advice through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant Program, and along with her husband, Tim, advocating for foster children in need of loving homes. Mercedes Schlapp served as White House Director of Strategic Communications in the Trump administration from September 2017 to July 2019. Following that she went on to work on the Trump 2020 re-election campaign as Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications.
Matt Schlapp is the pro-Trump chairman of the American Conservative Union. ACU conducts the CPAC events, the largest conservative gatherings in America. During his five-year tenure as chairman, ACU has almost tripled in size. CPAC is live-streamed on various platforms to millions of viewers around the world. Matt Schlapp leads the lobbying firm, Cove Strategies, which had strong ties to the Donald Trump administration. He is also a Fox News political contributor.
Mercedes and Matt both held leadership roles in Presidential administrations. They are quoted regularly in major media sites and write for various publications, including The Washington Times and The Hill. They host CPAC Now, a digital political show which was born out the sudden rise of lockdown and cancel culture in 2020.
