Team,
Since the 2020 election when Democrats took back the White House and Senate and held the House, we’ve seen the most widespread attack on the right to vote since the days of Jim Crow. And here in Texas, Republicans are using every tool at their disposal to make it harder for certain Texans to cast their ballots.
Republicans saw how overwhelming turnout by young people, students, and people of color helped Democrats win in 2020, and now, they’re doing everything in their power to change election rules to help them take back seats like mine in the midterms.
I flipped my seat from red to blue in 2018, and it took almost $6 million to hold onto it in 2020. National Republicans have already placed me on their target list and I need help to ensure that we can overcome the flood of GOP dark money entering this race and the harsh voting restrictions passed in Texas. Can you help?
Chip in $10 or more now that will be split between my campaign and Future Forum PAC, who is working to reelect Democrats like me to ensure we keep the House BLUE in 2022! [[link removed]]

This isn’t just about Democrats winning elections, team: Our democracy is at stake.
That’s why I’ve been doing everything I can to pass legislation that will set national standards that make it easy for eligible voters to cast their ballots and to make sure our democracy isn’t radically different from state to state.
Can I count on you to donate $10 or more now to be automatically split between my campaign and Future Forum PAC? We need everyone who cares about our democracy to join us so we can keep Democrats who are committed to protecting the right to vote in Congress. [[link removed]]
