It's Climate Week 2021, a week dedicated to showcase global actions taking place to address the current climate emergency. On Tuesday, Indigenous leaders, in partnership with Amazon Watch and Stand.earth, launched a new campaign to make ending Amazon crude a prominent climate solution.

This year, our demand that financial institutions exit Amazon oil and gas was among the important new climate actions. Beyond Climate Week, we must continue to hold the CEO's of these financial institutions accountable for their role in the destruction of the Amazon!

TAKE ACTION: NO MORE BANKING ON AMAZON DESTRUCTION!

From our latest report with Stand.earth, Banking on Amazon Destruction, we know that banks investing in Amazon oil are failing their own Environmental and Social Risk commitments and remain highly exposed to the risk of fueling corruption, human rights violations, and environmental harms.

This Climate Week, join us and send a message to bank CEO's and demand that they stop financing oil expansion and adopt Amazon-wide exclusion policies for the oil and gas industries.

Tell these CEOs: there can be no climate stability without an Amazon rainforest!
