The Trump administration has announced plans to frack on the doorstep of Yosemite National Park.
Food & Water Action

John,

The Trump administration has announced one of its worst environmental ideas ever.

They want to frack next door to Yosemite National Park.1

Trump’s Bureau of Land Management is pushing to open 1.6 million acres in California to fracking, including land on the doorstep of Yosemite. We can’t let it happen.

Will you donate to help protect Yosemite National Park from fracking?

Yosemite Lookout

Along with Yellowstone, Zion and the Grand Canyon, Yosemite is one of the crown jewels of our national park system. El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall… Yosemite’s landmarks are unforgettable.

But Trump’s fracking plan would increase air pollution in Yosemite, which already has some of the worst air quality in the park system. The seismic impacts of fracking threaten to trigger earthquakes along California’s active fault lines — putting people at risk.2

In addition to Yosemite, Trump’s plan would threaten Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks and Cesar E. Chavez National Monument. But that’s not all.

Trump is also pushing to open land outside Rocky Mountain National Park, Glacier National Park and Arches National Park to fracking. It’s a fracking free-for-all that threatens all our most precious lands.3

Food & Water Action has led the fight to stop fracking for years, and now we need to step up to protect our national parks.

Will you donate to help stop fracking near Yosemite and in all our public lands?

Onward together,
