I hope this note finds you and your family safe and well and that you are enjoying the first few days of fall!
This week, I'm back in Washington, D.C., where there is a ton going on. From the Build Back Better Agenda to the effort to fund the government and support for Afghan refugees, we've got our work cut out for us.
We'll be taking action on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and the Build Back Better Act in the House soon. I couldn't be prouder to support these efforts.
In the weeks ahead, Congress will hopefully make major investments to modernize our roads and bridges, reduce carbon pollution, and create good-paying jobs. It will deliver high-speed broadband access and clean drinking water to every American and make critical investments in climate resiliency. It will help families deal with the costs of health care, child care, and college.
I've been working hard to get these efforts over the finish line, and I'm excited to see them sent to the president's desk soon. These bills will have a positive impact on you, your family, and all of our communities once they are signed into law.
