Friend - None of us are free until all of us are free.
This week, Americans were reminded once again that this country’s immigration laws and enforcement are rooted in white supremacy. Simultaneously, we saw the Biden Administration continue to carry out Trump’s Title 42. Border Patrol Agents on horseback violently beat Haitian and other Black migrants seeking refuge at the border. Confronting anti-Blackness is key for our communities to create a movement that truly fights the The War on Black Immigrants.
We respond to these crises by standing next to and following the leadership of our partner organizations UndocuBlack Network and Haitian Bridge Alliance. United, we demand the Biden Administration:
-
halt Deportations and End the Use of Title 42 at the Border and at All Ports of Entry,
-
Enact Wide-Scale Humanitarian Parole for Haitians,
-
Defund and Divest from DHS, ICE, and CBP,
-
and Invest in Humane, Holistic Immigration.

Right now, our communities need to support one another and take action as we continue battling white supremacy. Our partner Haitian Bridge Alliance is seeking donations to support folks in the camps at our southern border and feeling Haiti after the natural disaster and political turmoil. Are you able to support them with a donation?

We will continue in our shared fight until all Black immigrants are safely welcomed, treated with dignity, and living life freely.
