Dear Colleague,

So-called UN experts have told the U.S. Supreme Court that it is against human rights law to overturn Roe V. Wade. This outrage is the first time such a thing has happened. It comes in a friend of the court brief in the case of Dobbs V. Jackson's Women's TK that calls for ending abortion after the 15th week. The Court very well could go the whole hog and overturn Roe and Doe and Casey and kick abortion back to the States. UN experts are not only outraged, they are lying about international obligations regarding abortion. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. reports.

The European Parliament has passed a resolution saying that lack of abortion is "gender-based violence" is a crime. This is a new trend of a totally elastic and dangerous term. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports.

The Biden administration seems to be moving toward decriminalizing prostitution. This reckless shift in US foreign policy has drawn a strong rebuke from anti-trafficking groups and survivor leaders. Lisa Correnti writes on Turtle Bay.

C-Fam is hosting a podcast on September 30 at 11 a.m. (Eastern) to discuss the Dobbs case that could very well see Roe V. Wade overturned and abortion returned to the States. C-Fam experts will examine what the case means, and take a look at the intervention of the UN and whether there are any international abortion obligations. An invitation will be coming to you in the coming days. Watch for it.

Delighted that C-Fam's Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. was interviewed by our friend Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse. You can find the interview here.

Spread the word. Be daring. Keep the faith.

Yours sincerely,

Austin Ruse
President

by Rebecca Oas, Ph.D.
