In just a few short terms in Congress, our movement has already taken up big fights with powerful interests. But now, a Republican is challenging my reelection in CA-17, and we need your help to win this.
We’re not afraid of tackling the big issues. When it came to the endless wars that have consumed our foreign policy for the entire 21st century, I built a bipartisan coalition to push for an end to the human rights crisis in Yemen.
When it came to the millions of Americans that are forced into medical bankruptcy just to receive care, I traveled the country to advocate for Bernie’s Medicare for All bill.
When it came to the communities left behind by this economy, facing staggering unemployment at the hands of automation and trade policies, I fought for legislation that would provide job retraining, and a pathway to participate in the future economy.
Standing boldly for progressive ideals may not make you many friends in Washington DC, but it’s the right thing to do. And I’ll never stop fighting for an economy that works for everyone.
