Since moving to DC in the mid-'70s, Phil has been a committed advocate from being an elected official, campaign organizer, and all-around local leader. Phil has also served as the Executive Director of the Anacostia Coordinating Council (ACC) since 1995.

Use your choice and voice to vote on 5 birthday cakes from Ward 8 baker Rodney Pearson (@THATGUYTHATBAKE)! The evening will be packed with exciting events, including Ranked The Vote teach-in, so come early and stay for the cake!
