Lt. Gov Dan Patrick

Fair Sports

When the NCAA threatened states that don't allow boys to play girls' sports, I took a stand against forcing girls to compete against boys. We cannot allow our women to be pushed out of athletic scholarships and out of sporting excellence.

It is not fair to allow boys to compete in girls' sports because, statistically, most boys run faster, jump higher, and throw farther.

Yesterday, we passed Senate Bill 3 in the Texas Senate to ensure that men and boys will not be allowed to compete against women and girls in individual and team sports or for sports scholarships.

This is the fourth time we have passed this bill out of the Senate this year, and we will continue passing this bill until it finally becomes law in Texas.

In Texas, we refuse to deny any woman or girl athlete the right to compete on a level playing field and be the best in her sport. We cannot and will not allow the Democrats to force girls to compete against boys in sports. Will you contribute $5-10-25 or more today to help me continue to stand up for Texas values?
