FINAL CALL: Critical funding for care workers will only pass if we fight! CALL NOW >> 805-243-1109

John --

During the pandemic, they called me essential, but McDonald's still didn't keep us safe enough or pay us what we're worth. The same thing happened to care workers who keep seniors and people with disabilities healthy -- praise in public, poverty wages in private.

Congress is in the final stage of passing a bill that will provide vital funding for care work -- along with spending on paid family leave, child care, free community college, and more! But the budget bill is in danger -- it will only get passed if we fight for it.

Call your representative now and tell them to VOTE YES on the Build Back Better Budget Plan >> 805-243-1109

Lawmakers negotiate over parts of these packages like they don't have real impact on real people. But they do.

A line item in a budget in Washington can be cut on a whim, but these cuts can impact millions of good jobs. In Chicago, we fought and won a $15 minimum wage, and right now we have the chance to bring that to our brothers and sisters working in home care jobs across the country.

Tell your member of Congress to VOTE YES on the FULL Build Back Better Budget and to increase protections for workers and create a game-changing investment in access to home care and good union jobs. 805-243-1109.

We voted for this Congress. It's time they listen to us and pass the budget!

In solidarity,

Adriana Alvarez
