Urge them to vote "yes" on WHPA.

ACLU Supporter, the House is expected to vote tomorrow on the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) and we need your help to defend abortion access in this country:

Will you contact your representative now and urge them to vote "yes" on this crucial legislation?

Since my email this Monday, nearly 38,000 ACLU activists (and counting!) have already sent messages to Congress – but in this urgent moment, every person will make the difference. So please join them by taking action now, too. Thank you.

--------

ACLU Supporter –

When it comes to abortion rights in this country right now – every action <[link removed]> holds weight.

The Supreme Court just allowed Texas' radical abortion ban to take effect and is set to hear a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade this term. Meanwhile, other states are trying to roll back abortion rights. At every turn, the ACLU is fighting back – with active litigation in Texas and in courthouses and legislatures across the country.

But Congress also has an imperative role to play at this moment. So do you.

The House recently announced that it will vote soon on a critical piece of legislation to protect abortion in the face of these massive attacks – the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA).

Right now, we need every member of our community to ensure our leaders pass this bill. So please, send a message to your representative and tell them to vote "yes" on WHPA as soon as it hits the House floor.

Protect Abortion
<[link removed]>

ACLU Supporter, as a refresher, WHPA will provide a nationwide safeguard against outright bans, as well as medically unnecessary restrictions that push abortion care out of reach.

And with the possibility of Texas copycat bills popping up in other states soon – and the Supreme Court reconsidering Roe v. Wade – we can't hesitate. Not for a second.

The vote for the bill is coming up this week, so this is the moment to reach your representative with a clear message: Urge them to vote "yes" on WHPA and protect our right to abortion care now.

For the future of reproductive freedom and all our rights, thank you for your activism.

Keep up the fight,
