Dear NRDC Action Fund Activist,

Virginia's last elections were so close that control of the House of Delegates literally came down to a tiebreaker in one race.

In the key race that decided the majority, the winner was chosen by drawing a name out of a bowl. The pro-environment candidate lost — and Virginians have suffered the consequences of the climate deniers still holding power, and still bowing to the wishes of fossil fuel lobbyists.

Every single vote counts. That's why a few weeks from now, we're looking for help from all across America to get out the vote in Virginia's vital state elections on November 5. Let's elect a pro-environment majority in the Virginia legislature to take the bold climate action we need to move the state toward a clean energy future.

We're texting voters on the days leading up to Election Day in Virginia and Election Day itself, November 5th. Sign up and get trained to text out the vote!
We'll send you detailed instructions for how to use our special online texting tool to contact voters in Virginia. All you'll need is a computer and a willingness to make an impact in this crucial state election.
On the day before we start texting, we'll share your personal texting tool login and texting assignment, and you can get started! (Support staff will be standing by to help, if you need it.)
