It's been two months since the House Judiciary Committee approved the EQUAL Act by a vote of 36-5. The EQUAL Act, which would finally end the federal sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine, has strong bipartisan support and is ready for a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives. But we still need your help to convince a busy Congress to actually hold a vote for the EQUAL Act and pass it by an overwhelming margin.

Act now to help us end the disparity! Call your U.S. representative at 844-899-8819. Ask your U.S. representative to support the EQUAL Act and bring it up for a vote immediately.

Hello, my name is your name and I am calling to urge your U.S. representative to support and vote for the Equal Act. The sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine is unfair and has exacerbated racial inequality. The two substances are scientifically the same drug, and there is no reason to treat them differently. Please support the EQUAL Act and encourage House leadership to bring it up for a vote right away. It is urgent that we end the disparity between crack and powder cocaine sentencing.
