25 years ago, the world first saw how a computer could fit into the palm of our hands. The blizzard of ’96 shut down the federal government for days. And DC welcomed a new organization – one that would have an impact on more than 40,000 children and families directly and hundreds of thousands through our city-wide advocacy.

Few could have predicted the many challenges DC children have faced over the past 25 years, let alone the trauma of the current pandemic: Children’s Law Center’s history and strength as an anchor institution has allowed us to pivot to meet their urgent needs during this critical moment while keeping our eye on a better future.

Join us on Tuesday, October 26th as we premiere 25 Years of Helping Children Soar—a celebration of your support over the past two and a half decades and a reflection on how partners like you can help us make a greater impact in the decades to come.
Thanks to your generosity, and through our work with more than 40,000 children and families over the years, we’ve achieved so much: created one of the first medical-legal partnerships in the nation, infused an innovative teaming approach to representing youth in foster care and successfully fought for city-wide solutions, like putting school-based behavioral health providers in every school.

None of this could have happened without you. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to our work, a pro bono attorney or a client, a government partner or an advocacy ally, we hope you will be part of this special evening. With your help, we can continue meeting the needs of DC kids now and in the decades ahead.

THE VIRTUAL EVENT will begin at 6:30 PM EDT with pre-event networking starting at 6:00 PM EDT. Click here to register.
