In the past few weeks, we’ve been reminded here in Texas of what’s at stake in every election. Late last month, the Republican-controlled Texas legislature made it significantly harder to cast a ballot in our state and then their radical attack on abortion and Roe v. Wade took effect. Because GOP leaders in our state are catering to the extremes of their base, Texans' fundamental rights are under attack, whether it is the right to vote or access to the health care they need.

I’m angry, John, and I know you are too. But we can’t let them take our hope. We have to organize and fight back. That’s why I’m asking for your help to keep me in Congress fighting to protect our democracy and reproductive rights.
