Hello John,

I'm getting in touch about a free course
on digital media literacy and online safety in your work with young people, developed by our Child Protection Programme in partnership with CyberSafeKids.

We are offering 2 separate opportunities
for youth workers and volunteers to sign up for this course:
  • November - December 2021 Tuesdays 10am-11am or
  • January - February 2022 Wednesdays 7pm-8pm.
Register now or find out more

During the course, you will:

  • Build your awareness of the challenges and opportunities that young people face online
  • Explore strategies for engaging in young people’s digital lives
  • Gain the skills to empower young people to use technology in a stronger, smarter, and safer way.
As this is a free training on a very topical issue, I'd advise you to book your place early before the courses fill up.

If you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Siobhan

P.S. You'll have seen today we launched our call on Government to support young people in Budget 2022 by investing €10 million in youth work. I'd ask you to support this by sharing with your contacts and signing our petition.
