This is a scary time for women’s rights, John. I’m fighting here in Congress to make sure our reproductive rights are protected — I’m preparing to vote to codify Roe v. Wade into law, but we still have many battles in the Senate and the Supreme Court ahead.

September has been a consequential month for our fight for abortion rights around the country, so I’m writing, John, to see how you’re feeling. Please take my one-question survey now: Do you still believe Roe v Wade should be the law of the land?

YES

NO

Earlier this month, one of the most dangerous, anti-abortion laws we’ve seen went into effect in Texas, and the Supreme Court did nothing to stop it.

Here in Georgia, anti-abortion groups are rallying behind their own 2019 Heartbeat Bill, which is making its way through the courts as we speak — and will get its latest day in court on Friday as the State of Georgia appeals the previous ruling that the bill was unconstitutional.

On top of that, the Supreme Court has officially set a date to hear arguments on a restrictive Mississippi abortion law on December 1st.

This is a scary time for women’s rights, John. I’m fighting here in Congress to make sure our reproductive rights are protected — I’m preparing to vote to codify Roe v. Wade into law, but we still have many battles in the Senate and the Supreme Court ahead.

As we take on these fights, I want to hear from you, John. Will take this quick survey and tell me: Do you believe that Roe v. Wade should be the law of the land?

YES

NO

Thank you for making your voice heard,
Lucy
