Team, here are our thoughts on Dean Heller’s launch video...

It’s one really big dog whistle.

To summarize his video, it’s a whole ton of lies to rile up Trump’s far-right base and not a lot of substance. Announcement videos are always the first impression that a candidate makes to potential voters, and Dean used his to lie about our state and the work we’ve accomplished.

The truth is, Nevadans had to deal with Trump’s lies for four long years and they’ve had enough.

Can you chip in now to help our campaign push back against the lies that Dean Heller is peddling about our state and the work we’ve done?

Steve has always said that Nevadans have a good eye for determining what’s a bunch of baloney and what’s not. But, it’s been a little while since Dean lost his seat in 2018, so let us catch you up to speed on what his record in Congress looked like.

Dean voted to get rid of the Affordable Care Act which would’ve stripped thousands of Nevadans of their health care coverage. Additionally, he strongly supported and voted for Trump’s tax bill that gave handouts to the wealthiest in our country.

Now, he’s said that he "likes what they did in Texas" and promises to pass “the most conservative anti-choice laws the state will allow.”

We’ve made too much progress here in Nevada to let those sorts of policies take hold. Under Governor Sisolak’s leadership, we implemented a historic public option for health care coverage, advocated for workers and unions, and helped our economy bounce back from the pandemic.

The work we’ve accomplished together could be lost entirely if someone like Dean Heller gets anywhere close to the Governor’s seat.
