I want to take us back just for a minute — to when Joe Biden was
campaigning in 2020.
He ran for president on delivering investments in climate action, paid
leave, universal child care, pre-K, housing, health care, and more. He
also pledged to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
What happened next? Joe Biden became President Biden. Democrats held the
House. And with two massive victories in Georgia, we flipped the Senate
too. But now, conservative Democrats, corporate lobbyists, Wall Street,
and Big Pharma are doing everything they can to stop each and every one of
the policies I outlined above. Corporate America and conservative
Democrats are trying to stop our Build Back Better Act. They are trying to
stop our agenda.
I joined Rachel Maddow last night to make the case for why it’s so
critical that we pass the $3.5 trillion Build Back Better Act without the
cruel cuts that corporate America is asking for. [ [link removed] ]I will continue
making the case to people across America and my colleagues that we must
pass economic relief and act on climate change. Can you chip in
$3 to fuel my work to pass this bill and show why bold,
progressive action is so critical right now?

Corporate America and Big Pharma don't like that we’re asking them to pay
their fair share in taxes to support these bold and transformative
investments in working people. They’re working overtime and spending lots
of money to stop our momentum — and to stop Medicare expansion and
long-overdue climate action.
Progressives will not fall for their cynical ploys. We will use our power
as a caucus to ensure that we get the investments that Democrats and the
people demand! Just like Rachel Maddow said, we’re flexing our progressive
muscle.
[ [link removed] ]If you’re with me in the fight to secure economic relief and climate
action in the Build Back Better Act, can you chip in $3 or
whatever you can afford to our campaign today? This fight is far from over
— and with your help today, I’m going to continue putting the pressure on
my colleagues to come together and get this done.
I’m so grateful to have you by my side. More soon,
Pramila
