John,

Today, former GOP Governor Paul LePage made it official and launched his campaign for Governor of Maine. Now, our fight to keep Maine moving forward is more urgent than ever -- and it’s going to take grassroots support from a lot of folks like you to help Democrats fight back.

Under Governor Janet Mills, Maine has taken steps forward, even during COVID -- and we’re all thankful that Paul LePage was not our governor during this pandemic. But now, he’s formally launching his comeback effort -- and if he’s successful, he’ll absolutely take Maine backwards.

Today, we need to commit to doing everything we can to prevent a third term of Paul LePage.

John, we need you in this fight. Will you pitch in $5 or whatever you can now to defeat Paul LePage and elect Maine Democrats up and down the ballot in 2022?

The last thing Maine needs is a governor who describes himself as “Donald Trump before Donald Trump became popular.” I’ve already seen firsthand everything that a LePage governorship entails. Maine needs leaders who bring us together and move us forward -- and all Paul LePage has to offer is division and disrespect. Maine deserves better than Paul LePage.

As Chair of the Maine Democratic Party, I am 100% committed to defeating Paul LePage. But here’s the truth, John: this fight is going to take all of us -- and we need you in it.

Can you rush in $5 or any amount to help fight back and elect Democrats in Maine?
