Friend,

A recent CNN report laid out Donald Trump's latest anti-democratic gambit in stark terms:

“Swing state by swing state, former President Donald Trump is trying to get people who tried to overturn the 2020 election chosen to be in charge of the 2024 election.” - CNN, September 16th, 2021

Here in Michigan, Donald Trump endorsed a Republican activist running for Secretary of State who appeared on conservative media dozens of times to falsely claim the election was stolen.

Folks, Donald Trump was a one-term President, but our fight for our democracy isn't over by a long shot.

I'm building a team to make sure Michigan Democrats win up and down the ticket in 2022, and I’m asking for your help.

Can you chip in $20 or anything you can afford to support my effort before the upcoming end-of-quarter deadline?

When our quarterly report becomes public next month, I want to send a crystal clear message to Donald Trump and anyone else trying to undermine our democracy:

Michigan Democrats are just as fired up as we were in 2020. We will work our hearts out to protect our majorities and our freedom to vote.

To kick-start our efforts, my team has sent an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 before the end of September.

Pitch in now and help us make sure we reach our ambitious goal.

Thanks for standing with me,

Debbie
