Friend – did you see this? The filibuster is one of the most absurd institutions. It's not in the Constitution – it's just a Jim Crow relic that lets conservatives block what they want.

We can't let the GOP abuse the filibuster in order to stop millions of Americans from exercising their fundamental right to vote. That's what's happening today – and it needs to stop.

Please, friend – sign the petition demanding we abolish the filibuster. Our American democracy is counting on it.

Friend – our democracy is under attack.

Here's why: Mitch McConnell and the GOP are using the filibuster to stop our progressive Democratic agenda.

McConnell is essentially using the filibuster to have complete control over which laws get passed and whose voices are heard.

Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Democrats in Congress are fighting tooth and nail to pass For the People Act to improve access to mail-in voting, strengthen election security against interference and get dirty money out of politics.

It's commonsense – and it shouldn't be controversial. But with the Jim Crow filibuster in place, this critical bill is dead on arrival.

We need another 27 TOP DEMOCRATS to sign our petition DEMANDING we end the filibuster – please, friend, will you add your name right now?
