John, I want to highlight a point A.G. Holder made in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer:

"I think about those democracies that were lost in the middle part and the early part of the 20th century where democracy was not adequately defended and where authoritarian regimes rose. And it was not because democracy was unpopular... But the reality is the defense of democracy was weak, and we cannot allow that to happen in this country."

Right now, the defense of American democracy is very much in question. Republicans have proven we can't rely on them; in fact, they are the ones attacking democracy by repeating Trump's Big Lie, disenfranchising voters, and gerrymandering maps like those we've seen in Ohio and Texas.

So whether we're able to save democracy depends solely on us. You and me. That's why I'm asking you again to donate to the NDRC. We have so much to get done this month , from fighting gerrymandering in state after state to supporting reform at the federal level like the Freedom To Vote Act. It all takes resources and we can't do it without you.
