Biden's Border Crisis [[link removed]]




Since Biden became president, 1.2 million illegal immigrants have been apprehended at the border. His catch-and-release, open-border policies have created this historic crisis. In the last month alone, Border Patrol apprehended more than 200,000 illegal immigrants — the highest number for August in more than 20 years.




The Biden Administration is claiming our border is closed, and the Haitian migrants will be sent back. However, I saw for myself that this is not the case.




I traveled down to the Del Rio border on Monday to see firsthand the effects of Biden's border crisis. What I saw was nothing short of what you would find at a refugee camp in a third-world country.

Biden's refusal to secure our border hasn't stopped Texas from doing the job for him. Texas is stepping up. We have deployed our Department of Public Safety Troopers to help safeguard the border and have allocated more than $750 million to finish the wall. In addition, we signed House Bill 9 last week, adding $1.8 billion in funding to secure our border.




We must protect America against a lawless and overrun border, and a President who openly ignores his Constitutional duties of Article 4, Section 4.




Our border is out of control and worsening by the second under Biden's inept leadership. More than ever, we need Republicans in office who will fight for a stronger border for the safety of Texans.
