Groundwork Project was built to support community organizers, advocates, and activists in their own communities. We know that the single most impactful place to direct Democratic time and resources is to local community organizers fighting year-round on the ground for change.

That’s why we want to hear from you, directly.

Our team just launched a story collection tool to help us all learn from the stories of organizers, working to build collective power in every corner of the country. Do you have a story you want us to hear? Share it with us, right here.

Maybe you were on the ground in Georgia last year. Maybe you made calls or knocked doors or “Zoom-banked” for your favorite city councilor this fall. Maybe you helped mobilize your neighborhood to get resources to families in need when COVID hit. Either way, we want to hear your story.

SHARE YOUR STORY

Thank you for sharing your voice with us! We are so grateful to have this community by our side.

Groundwork Team

Groundwork Project invests year-round in local community organizing. With a primary focus on Appalachia, the Deep South, and the Plains, we play the long game. Day to day, year to year: We show up to help build durable civic and political infrastructure in places Democrats have gotten used to writing off. Contribute now.
