We’re in need of some healing!

Just Texas is gathering clergy, people of faith, and supporters in the Texas Capitol halls of power to proclaim our love, support, and celebration for the trans community.

Join us in the Capitol rotunda at 12pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, to create and hold healing space for the trans community and the movement that has spent nine months fighting anti-trans legislation.

70 anti-trans bills have been filed in the Texas legislature in 2021. This year we have seen the most extreme legislative attacks on trans people. These bills violate our deeply held religious beliefs of love and compassion for all people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Join this community as we bring healing to a place that has done so much harm this year.

Faith leaders will lead us in a program including reflections, poems, music, and a healing ritual. This space is for all trans people, friends and families, people of faith, and people in the movement working toward trans liberation.
