Texas’s abortion ban is still in effect and each day, more people are denied the care they need.

We can and must fight back, in every way and on every level.

We’re thrilled to share a major win out of Portland, Oregon, where our partners just secured abortion funding in the city budget!

Last week, the Portland City Council voted to allocate $200,000 to the Northwest Abortion Access Fund (NWAAF). This funding will help people across the Northwest, and all those who need to travel to the safe access states of Oregon and Washington for abortion care. We were thrilled to work in partnership with NWAAF and NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon to make Portland the third city in the country to fund abortion access and support.

We can’t stop there. We need local, state, and federal action.

This Friday, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), which would protect abortion access in every state. Contact your House Representative [[link removed]] and tell them to vote YES on WHPA!

Finally, join in the “Rally for Abortion Justice” nationwide mobilizations happening across the country on October 2. Find a march near you, [[link removed]] and stay tuned for more information!
