On October 27th, MLFA will be
holding a virtual symposium—a panel discussion with leading experts in subject areas that affect American Muslims. Our topic of discussion will be "citizens on probation." During the meeting we will examine how US legal policy, particularly national security policy, treats Muslims as second-class citizens.
We’ll also review the work that we’ve done for the last two decades to combat these types of policies and defend those caught up in them, as well as share our vision for the next decade of work and how we’re planning to extend our reach and continue to advocate for marginalized people groups.
