As a mother of a daughter, and a teacher of many young women, I'll state unequivocally: I support efforts to expand, not restrict, women's health care and reproductive rights.

John,

A few months ago, my opponent Kevin McCarthy joined with over 200 other Republican members of Congress to urge the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. Unfortunately, their wish may soon come true.

The Supreme Court just announced they would hear a case challenging a Mississippi state law that bans abortions after 15 weeks.

As a mother of a daughter, and a teacher of many young women, I'll make this as clear as possible: I support efforts to expand, not restrict, women's health care and reproductive rights.

Texas and Mississippi both passed laws that severely restrict these freedoms and rights. The Texas law is particularly shocking -- it deputizes private citizens to turn in neighbors who violate the law for a $10,000 bounty.

The House is about to vote on a critical piece of legislation that would make protections under Roe v. Wade the law of the land, no matter what the Supreme Court decides. They need to hear from us.

Will you add your name next to mine to tell Congress that it's high time to pass the Women's Health Protection Act? Our voices are stronger together.

When I launched this campaign, I promised to always speak my mind about issues that matter to the Central Valley.

A country that doesn't prioritize the health and safety of its women and children absolutely has its priorities backwards. This needs to change, now.

But I can't do this alone, which is why I need your help:
