Nice to meet you, team.

I’m Shannon Watts, and I’m the founder of Moms Demand Action — a grassroots movement working to reduce gun violence across our country.

I’m reaching out to you today about Governor Phil Murphy’s campaign in New Jersey. Governor Murphy has one of the strongest records on gun safety in the country, and it’s crucial we re-elect him to the governor’s office in just 41 days.

Over the last three-plus years, Governor Murphy has worked to expand background checks, limit magazine capacities, stand up to the gun lobby, and much more. He is committed to building a stronger, safer New Jersey for everyone — and his record demonstrates it.

Meanwhile, his Republican opponent wants to undo the progress New Jersey has made on gun safety.

Just a few months ago, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli was caught on tape pandering to extremists at a gun range, asking for “wiggle room” from his far-right base to mislead voters about his extreme record and views on issues like gun safety.

We can’t let Ciattarelli fool New Jerseyans. And we certainly can’t let Ciattarelli and his Republican allies roll back New Jersey’s strong gun safety laws.

If you agree, please add your name to show your support for Gov. Murphy and his efforts to keep New Jersey safe: [[link removed]]
