As President of the Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women’s Clubs, I am fortunate to work closely with our ODP Chair, Alicia Andrews.

Alicia has consistently demonstrated her planning and problem-solving leadership abilities over the past two plus years. With Alicia at the helm of the ODP, I am consistently impressed, encouraged, and challenged to do more to empower Oklahoma Democrats--with the ultimate goal of electing more Democrats from City Hall to the halls of Congress!

It is particularly refreshing to me when other people notice; especially those with a very large platform! Earlier this month, the host of Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO) showed the world a picture of the OKC GOP’s bizarre approach to leadership. He contrasted that with a photo of our Alicia as the true leader! Here's the clip:

Alicia is too modest to share this clip with you, but I think it’s important for all of us to know that our Chair, and our Party, are being positively positioned in international media. Lunacy or leadership? It’s a clear choice and a powerful distinction between the Oklahoma Democratic Party and the other party.

With leaders like Alicia at our Party’s helm, we are positioned to make a powerful, positive impact on the 2022 election cycle and beyond. However, having tremendous leadership is only part of the equation. We also need resources to win seats for Democrats.
