Indivisibles,
Over the weekend, we learned Kyrsten Sinema is threatening to vote against
the Democratic reconciliation bill, which includes drug pricing and
childcare provisions crucial to everyday people, if the House doesn’t pass
the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework first. And yesterday, news dropped
that the pharmaceutical industry is promoting Sinema in hopes of killing
those widely popular drug pricing provisions. 🤔🤔🤔
We expect the House to vote on the reconciliation bill this week, at which
point it’ll go to the Senate -- which means we need to get working now to
ensure the entire Democratic caucus in the Senate, including Sinema, is
ready to vote YES and enact all its crucial components.
That’s why we’re spending $25,000 in Arizona to drive calls and show
Sinema that her constituents demand people-first policies. As part of
that, we’ll be taking over the website of the Arizona Daily Star so we can
reach even more people, developing graphics, running ads, and more.
This $25,000 is money we weren’t expecting to spend, and with some of the
ads already live, we need your help to cover the costs -- [ [link removed] ]can you pitch
in $10 today to help Arizonans pressure Sinema, win transformational
change through the reconciliation bill, and fight for all the rest of our
progressive priorities?

This latest development is just a part of our three-pronged strategy to
win on reconciliation: holding conservative Dems accountable, having the
backs of the progressive bloc, and doing targeted work with key
committees. We’ll be hard at work on all of that until this fight is over,
and we need you with us to make it happen. As always, we’re grateful for
your support.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
