Folks,
I could not be prouder of the phenomenal work Voto Latino and this grassroots team put in to help make sure the radical Republican recall failed in California. Thanks to your support, Voto Latino was able to commit $1 million to the California recall election -- and helped drive a surge of Latinx voters right before polls closed.
But in this political climate, there’s no time to rest. In less than a month, there are crucial voter registration deadlines in major parts of Florida, along with the whole state of Virginia. Deadlines like these are our best opportunity to register tens of thousands of new voters -- reminding them to vote in state-level and down the ballot races. But just like in the California recall election, we rely on supporters to be able to do our work.
I’ve asked before and I’ll ask again: Will you pitch in today to help us register young Latinx voters and keep our Democratic majority? >>> [link removed]
Right now, we’re facing urgent deadlines in two states: Virginia’s voter registration deadline is just weeks away on October 12th, and areas of Florida face a deadline even earlier on October 5th. It’s crucial that we have the resources we need to register as many voters as possible to build up the electorate before the midterms.
All over the country, reproductive rights, voting rights, access to healthcare, and so much more is under attack, and it’s up to us to keep registering and mobilizing Latinx voters to turn out and VOTE for Democratic candidates who will fight for our communities.
But we can’t do any of it without you, John. Please, if you can, pitch in any amount today to help Voto Latino keep fighting to register, mobilize, and empower Latinx voters:
