Democratic AGs won’t stop taking action in court to protect reproductive access. Learn more about how you can help:
A coalition of Democratic Attorneys General just filed their THIRD legal brief to protect abortion access in less than two weeks.
This brief on Mississippi’s direct challenge to Roe v. Wade in the Supreme Court follows legal filings against Texas’ and South Carolina’s abortion bans.
This is yet another ground-breaking development, friend. Dem AGs won’t stop fighting for reproductive rights and access in and out of the courtroom.
The Supreme Court is going to hear this direct challenge to Roe v. Wade (led by Mississippi’s extremist Republican AG Lynn Fitch) at the start of December, but a coalition of 24 Dem AGs are taking action right now to protect abortion access across the country.
But, as Dem AGs fight for the right and access to an abortion, Republican AGs are doing everything they can to cut access to reproductive health care.
Indicted Republican Texas AG Ken Paxton was a leading defender of Texas’ six-week abortion ban that the Supreme Court allowed to go into effect. He’s up for reelection next year.
Montana’s extremist Republican AG Austin Knudsen just asked a district court to dismiss lawsuits filed by Planned Parenthood against new abortion restriction laws. He’s up for reelection in 2024.
And all across the country countless pro-Trump Republican AGs, like Kentucky AG Daniel Cameron and Missouri AG Eric Schmitt, have applauded restrictive laws on reproductive rights and access to reproductive care. Next year, there are more than 30 AG elections that we can’t allow Republicans to win.
DAGA is the first committee to only support candidates who support abortion access, so when we elect Dem AGs we know they will fight for the right and access to an abortion. But we need your help to win key races and elect more Dem AGs.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, we need your support – will you chip in today?
