Right now, Congress is working on the Build Back Better Act, which could become the most significant federal action to combat climate change EVER. This could mean millions of good-paying green jobs, a pathway to 100% clean energy for the whole country by 2035, and a commitment to invest billions of dollars in Black, Brown, and low-income communities that have been hardest hit by the climate crisis. Activists like us must speak directly with our representatives in Congress to make sure they keep up the fight for this critical piece of legislation.

This Thursday, September 23, at 12 p.m., Conservation Voters Pennsylvania is hosting a press conference at Philadelphia City Hall with Councilwoman Katherine Gilmore Richardson . In discussion with CVPA, members like you, and our partners, the Councilwoman will talk about the passage of a City Council resolution which calls on Congress to act now to pass bold climate action through President Biden's Build Back Better Act to help cities like Philadelphia NOW!
