November 5th is Election Day in the Commonwealth, and Virginians have a chance to lead our country toward something better than what we've seen these past three years.

The Commonwealth can show America that hatred and division do not reflect the ideals of who we are, and that if our elected representatives refuse to take action on our country's greatest challenges, we'll replace them with leaders who will.

Flipping the General Assembly is within reach. So I'm asking -- can you chip in today to help Virginia Democrats retake the House of Delegates and Virginia Senate?

Virginia Republicans have stonewalled progress at every juncture. They've refused to defend health care for people with pre-existing conditions and they turn a blind eye to our nation's gun violence epidemic.

I'm sick and tired of this senseless violence in our schools, movie theaters, and municipal centers. Virginians need to feel safe again. That starts with turning the General Assembly blue.

By sweeping do-nothing Virginia Republicans out of power on November 5th, you'll also show the Trump administration and his defenders in Congress that their hate and their values have no place in the Commonwealth.

Best of all, flipping the General Assembly will set the stage for 2020, just like the 2017 elections were a sign that the 2018 midterms were going to be a blue wave.
