In March, we passed the American Rescue Plan to bring relief to the millions of Americans struggling through the pandemic. 

Here's what a difference it has made:

• It brought home more than $5 billion in federal dollars for Arizona state, local, and tribal governments to support health providers and help distribute vaccinations. Now, over half of Arizona's population is completely vaccinated.
   
• It distributed stimulus checks to ninety percent of households in Arizona.
   
• It expanded Child Tax Credits, benefitting the families of over 1.3 million children in the process and lifted thousands of households out of poverty. 
   
• It helped small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open using the $7.25 billion dollars devoted to the Paycheck Protection Program fund. It also directed over $300 million in aid towards 1,300+ Arizona restaurants.
   
• It invested $340 million in Arizona infrastructure and transportation projects.

This doesn't mean we're out of the woods. But half a year later, we can see what a difference this relief has made in the lives of hard-working Arizonans. We must keep supporting our local economies, getting vaccinated if we can, and fighting for common-sense solutions. Because, as the Rescue Plan has proven, those solutions work!
