| Fellow American, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it over and over again until President Biden listens: The only way we're going to reduce emissions significantly is to continue to invest in energy production by the United States of America. The reality is nobody has done better at reducing emissions in the energy sector than the United States of America over the last couple of decades. Today, I’m asking you to stand with me and fight for American energy because Joe Biden and the radical Left are KILLING the economy. Their war on energy is putting hardworking Americans OUT OF WORK. The only thing shutting down coal plants will do is transfer our emission guilt to some other countries. It will make the grid less reliable, energy more expensive, and it will drive up the cost of everything. Joe Biden’s actions hurt workers, consumers, North Dakota’s economy, and America’s energy security. I’m leading the fight to support American energy because it is integral to national and economic security. Biden’s progressive agenda is not a sustainable path. Support American Energy → Don’t forget – while Biden issued an executive order revoking the completion of the Keystone XL Pipeline, canceling thousands of American jobs, he gave Putin and Russia the green light to build a less environmentally friendly pipeline of its own. It goes without saying the Biden’s decision to support Russia’s energy industry while working so hard to destroy ours makes no sense.
