As NIAC Action’s Board Director, I am so honored to be a voice for the Iranian-American community. We have done tremendous work to build sustainable, lasting power and advocate for our community amidst so many challenges.
I have some exciting news to share with you. In the coming days, we'll be launching our application for the NIAC Action Board of Directors! We’re looking for folks that are ready to come to the table and solve problems, engage with new ideas, and advocate for Iranian Americans across the country.
The NIAC Action Board plays a critical role in strategizing, supporting, and scaling up our community’s voice. We do this by investing in electoral organizing and electing representatives who share our values. Board members play a direct and important role in our advocacy planning and strategy.
We encourage applicants with a background or expertise in nonprofit management, political fundraising, and electoral or issue-based campaigns to apply regardless of race, religion, color, age, sex, gender identification or presentation, sexuality, or disability status. I hope you’ll consider applying to be a part of this outstanding team of change-makers.
