John --

Recently I asked local residents to choose which charity I should fundraise for in 2020.

Many votes were cast and I am pleased to announce that Sutton Night Watch?is my new charity for the next twelve months.

Sutton Night Watch provides support for the homeless in Sutton. A group of volunteers run a soup kitchen and food bank, supplying hot food for local homeless people and giving out clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, food, toiletries and other necessary items.

This year I aim to undertake a range of fundraising challenges and raise a minimum of ?2,000 for this amazing charity that supports the homeless throughout the year.

There were two other great charities that came in ahead of the pack: Wallington Animal Rescue, dedicated to the rescuing of domestic animals, and PlayWise, which provides support for children with disabilities.

I am really looking forward to fundraising for Sutton Night Watch and supporting all three charities in the amazing work they do.

Best wishes,

Tom Brake MP
